To add a formula block there are two options:<\/p>\n

Option 1<\/strong>: Selecting “Insert Formula<\/strong>” from the top menu “Exercise<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Option 2<\/strong>: Selecting \u201cFormula<\/strong>\u201d within the section \u201cAdd Block<\/strong>\u201d which is placed in the BioProfe CREATOR main window. Then the Text Block window will pop up.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Click on the “\u25ba” button (Insert Item).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then the mathematical toolbox pops up, which has three different parts: \u201cMathematical elements<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cKnown Values<\/strong>\u201d, and \u201cUnknown Values<\/strong>\u201d. We will use them according to the exercises that we want to create and the kind of formulas we want to write.<\/p>\n

Also, it is possible to introduce the elements using the keyboard. To do so, click on the button \u201cKeyboard<\/strong>\u201d which is in the first tab \u201cMathematical elements<\/strong>\u201d and type the mathematical formula.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You can change the colour and type of font.<\/p>\n

Click on the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n

As a result, you will see the formula included within the exercise.<\/p>\n

Click on the \u201cFormula<\/strong>\u201d button again to open the Formula editor.<\/p>\n

Click on the “\u25ba”\u00a0button (Insert Item).<\/p>\n

Select the \u201cKnown Values<\/strong>\u201d tab.<\/p>\n

Click on the number \u201c2<\/strong>\u201d button and click on the “\u25ba”\u00a0button again.<\/p>\n

Click on the “x<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n

And again, click on the “\u25ba”\u00a0button to add another item.<\/p>\n

Click on the “=<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n

Again, click on the “\u25ba”\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

Now we are going to select an unknown that the student will have to solve.<\/p>\n

To do this, select the “Unknown Values<\/strong>” tab and click on the gray button with the number “8<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Click on the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

As a result, this second formula will be introduced in the exercise.<\/p>\n

We are going to introduce the third and last formula in the exercise.<\/p>\n

Click the “Formula<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n
