New Regulation of Data Protection
Since May 25, 2018, the new Data Protection Regulation is applicable. The EU Regulation 2016/679 harmonizes the legislation on data protection throughout the European Union, increasing the protection of natural persons holding personal data and giving them greater control over them.
Who is responsible for the processing of personal data?
The entity responsible for the treatment of personal data of users is the company SIOEDUC S.L, whose identifying and contact data are written at the beginning of this legal notice.
For what purpose do we treat personal data?
The data that BIOPROFE collects through the different channels (web page, email, electronic forms) within its activity are treated with the following purposes:
o Identify the BioProfe user by his credentials
o Generate invoices when a customer makes a purchase
o Inform the user about updates and upgrades of the apps
How long do we keep the data?
Indefinitely until the user decides to delete them.
Why do we use personal information?
The personal data are processed by BIOPROFE on the following legal bases (examples):
1. The consent of the user or have been voluntarily provided by him by any means.
2. The maintenance, development and execution of a contractual relationship that we maintain with the owner of personal data, in the case of: (i) provision of services; (ii) labor, commercial, administrative relationship, among others).
3. For legitimate interest, always respecting the right to the protection of personal data, honor and privacy, for sending to registered users periodic news bulletins with news and relevant information in the sector or in BIOPROFE.
To whom will we communicate the data?
The personal data will be transferred to the entities and for the following purpose: Entities and suppliers that provide services to BIOPROFE for the correct execution of our activities and projects. These entities and suppliers are duly accredited and sign with us the corresponding data processing contract in compliance with current data protection regulations.
To give examples of the services that provide us and that may involve the processing of personal data on behalf of BIOPROFE, we can mention, as an example: multidisciplinary professional services,
logistics, legal advice, technological services, computer, messaging and distribution, maintenance, security and surveillance, advertising and marketing, etc.
What security measures do we apply to personal data?
We apply the necessary security measures to prevent theft, alteration or unauthorized access to the data, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of application, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the treatment, as well as the as variable probability and severity risks for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
In the case of contracting services, we demand and ensure that the person in charge of the treatment applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the existing risks, as set out in arts. 28 and 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
We also perform Impact Assessments on those treatment operations that we believe may have a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in order to implement the necessary and timely measures to avoid a violation of the confidentiality of the information.
What channels do we use to obtain the data?
BIOPROFE obtains personal data through the following channels:
o Registration form within the BioProfe applications.
o Forms and Questionnaires through our website.
The type and amount of information that BIOPROFE receives and conserves depends on the way in which the user uses the web spaces. The user can access almost all the sections of the Web without identifying themselves and without communicating any personal data.
What categories of data do we manage?
We treat the following categories of data, according to the circumstances of the relationship with the user:
o Identification data.
o Postal address and email addresses.
o Phone numbers
What are the rights of our users?
Everyone has the right to know if BIOPROFE uses their personal data. You also have the right to:
o Access your personal data,
o Request the correction of inaccurate data.
o Request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes that were collected,
o Oppose the use of your data, for reasons related to your particular situation, requesting that they are not treated by BIOPROFE.
o In certain circumstances, request limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defence of claims.
o Withdraw, whenever you want, the consent given, without affecting the legality of the treatment we have performed prior to said withdrawal.
When the user exercises the rights of suppression, opposition, limitation or withdrawal of consent, BIOPROFE will stop processing your data, except for compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

Always remember that if you exercise any of the rights that we have exposed you, you have to attached your request with a copy of your ID or equivalent document that allows us to prove your identity.
Also, if you are not satisfied with the way we have treated your rights, the user may submit a claim to the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, through the website www.aepd.es .
What can you do if you do not want to receive commercial communications ?:
In accordance with the LSSSI, you can unsubscribe from any of the subscription services as well as express your opposition to receiving advertising information, by sending the word CANCEL, via email, to the following address: email@example.com.
Personal information of minors
If the user is under 14 and wishes to subscribe to our website or use any of the services included in it, their parents or legal guardian must give their permission to register as a user, so they must complete and sign the corresponding forms that can be requested through the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Likewise, if any record reveals that the user is a minor, they will be notified of the impossibility of continuing to use BIOPROFE’s services until their parents or legal guardian give their consent for the collection and processing of their personal data. At any time, the parents or legal guardian may review, cancel or deny the collection of personal data of the minor, by contacting BIOPROFE at the addresses previously reviewed for the exercise of rights.
